Hiking is as much a part of summer as the waterfalls are to Engstligenalp. It’s lucky that Engstligenalp is the starting point for breathtaking hikes. Over hill and dale, through colorful flower meadows, along streams – various (circular) hiking trails lead from or to Engstligenalp. Whether you’re a mountain climber or a walker: discover the hiking paradise in the Bernese Oberland on foot!
\nBy the way, mountain bikes are not allowed on Engstligenalp – the largest plateau in Switzerland is a nature reserve. And please always remember: You are never alone on our meadows. \nThe circular trail to Dossenseeli is a scenic insider tip on Engstligenalp. This easy to moderately difficult tour leads through the wide, open plateau to an idyllically situated small mountain lake – the Dossenseeli, a place of tranquillity in the clear mountain air. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n

Circular hike Upper Waterfall – Engstligenalp (Waterfall Loop)<\/strong>
\nThis short but impressive circular hike on the Engstligenalp takes you directly to the upper source of the Engstligen Falls – where the water rushes down into the depths and one of the largest waterfalls in Switzerland begins.<\/p>\n

\nThis circular tour is an alpine treat for ambitious hikers who want to discover the wild side of Engstligenalp.
