Cable car operating hours:
21 October to 24 November 2026, Wed–Sun, 10.00–16.30
From 25 November 2026, daily, 8.45 am–5.00 pm
The raclette hut is open from 21 October to 6 November – the mountain hotel opens from 7 November.
Winter walking trails and cross-country ski trails will open as soon as conditions allow.
Of course, there are still one or two cozy spots on the Engstligenalp. Our partners on the mountain look forward to your visit.
Directly at the valley station “Unter dem Birg” is the restaurant Bergbach. For a little snack or a fine meal you are exactly right here. The Bergbach restaurant also offers Greek specialties and sunshine – here, the sun is often still shining even when the last cable car has already left the plateau. There are also special events every now and then. It pays to ask!
