Thanks to its unique topography and altitude, Engstligenalp is guaranteed snow from December to the beginning of May. This means that cross-country skiing is possible for quite a while longer than in the valley.
Whether it’s a leisurely round for the whole family or a high-altitude workout for the athletically active – both are possible on Engstligenalp. At 2000 meters above sea level, you will find a total of 8 kilometers of perfectly groomed trails.
Depending on how long you want to use the Lägerloipe and the Groppiloipe, the day ticket or the weekly ticket is the best choice. There is also a season pass for the Adelboden region.

4. overtaking: In single lanes, overtake to the left of the lane. In dual lanes, use the left lane for overtaking.
5. oncoming traffic: swerve to the right in oncoming traffic (runner in the same lane).
6. poles: Keep your poles close to your body when overtaking, being overtaken and crossing and do not endanger anyone.
7. speed: On downhill sections, adjust your speed to the terrain, visibility and your ability.
8. keep the running lane clear: take a breather and discuss next to the running lane. After a fall, get to safety next to the track.
9. assistance: You are obliged to provide assistance in the event of accidents on the running track. Everyone involved, witnesses, whether responsible or not, must provide their personal details.
10. waste: Cross-country skiers do not leave any waste in the trail or in the terrain.
