Maybe it’s the frozen Engstligen Falls, maybe it’s the snow-covered mountain peaks, or maybe it’s just the snowy plateau itself. A trip to Engstligenalp is simply always spectacular – no matter how many times you’ve been here before!
You can already catch a glimpse of the frozen icefalls during the cable car ride. But then you should enjoy it all the more: In winter, you have to be satisfied with the view from afar. In summer, the waterfall on the Engstligenalp is a popular destination for excursions: then the roaring and foaming water plunges over two cascades 600 meters into the depths.
Once at the top, the largest plateau in Switzerland is also enchanting. With perfectly groomed slopes, igloo adventures, and snowy winter wonderland, snow enjoyment is definitely not in short supply!
