Are you fascinated by ski touring and looking for new routes? On the Engstligenalp there are a variety of tours with different levels of difficulty. Thanks to the location at 2000 m above sea level, ski tours are possible until May.
Safety comes first on ski tours. Before you set off on your tour, always keep up to date with the latest avalanche bulletin and equip yourself with the necessary safety equipment.
The early bird catches the worm – or just the Bähnli. From the beginning of March to the beginning of May, we take you up to Engstligenalp on weekends for an additional CHF 20 (on top of the normal ticket) as early as 07.00 in the morning on the aerial cableway. Enjoy the silence on the mountain and draw the very first tracks in the snow.
The decision whether the Early Bird trips will take place will be communicated on the website every Wednesday. The ski lifts start operating as usual at 8.30 am.
Do you enjoy snow tours in winter and are you interested in the complex subject of snow? The basic avalanche course teaches you the most important basics of avalanche awareness and how to use an avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel.
During the winter season, our partner Höhenfieber regularly organizes courses with overnight stays in the mountain hotel.
