Are you fascinated by ski touring and looking for new routes? On the Engstligenalp there are a variety of tours with different levels of difficulty. Thanks to the location at 2000 m above sea level, ski tours are possible until May.
Safety comes first on ski tours. Before you set off on your tour, always keep up to date with the latest avalanche bulletin and equip yourself with the necessary safety equipment.
The early bird catches the worm – or just the Bähnli. From the end of February to the beginning of May, we take you up to Engstligenalp on weekends from 7 a.m. onwards with the cable car. From 03.04. the Early Bird trips take place daily. Enjoy the silence on the mountain and draw the very first tracks in the snow.
The offer is now included in the regular cable car ticket at no extra charge – simply hop on & enjoy.
The decision as to whether the Early Bird trips will take place will be communicated on the website 2-3 days in advance. The ski lifts start operating as usual at 8.30 am.
Why return directly to the valley when you can extend your winter day on the Engstligenalp? After an extensive ski tour, the cozy raclette hut invites you to stop off – whether for lunch, a refreshing break in the afternoon or a relaxing end to the day.
If you want to freshen up beforehand, you will find modern showers and practical, lockable lockers right next to the mountain station – ideal for changing and safely storing a change of clothes.
