While you are sitting in the restaurant of the mountain hotel, you can not only fill your belly: At the same time, you look out of the large panoramic windows or enjoy the view from the sun terrace and let your eyes wander over the high plateau – although we doubt whether this view ever really fills you up.
At noon, the restaurant in the mountain hotel welcomes you as a self-service restaurant and is therefore ideal for visiting with the whole family. On our menu are classics like Ghackets with Hörnli, Bratwurst with fries or Älplermakkaroni. Or how about a break and an Engstligenplättli or coffee and cake?
When the last day guests have left Engstligenalp again, a fine dinner awaits you as a hotel guest in the restaurant of the mountain hotel. Dinner will be held at 6:30 pm each night. Delicious menus are served, such as Bärner Rösti in a cast iron pan, accompanied by a seasonal mushroom ragout and caramelized cherry tomatoes. We attach great importance to seasonality and regionality: That is why there are always different menus on the menu, in which local flowers or herbs may not be missing. Please inform us before arrival if you are vegan or do not tolerate certain foods.
