Globi, the blue bird with a yellow beak, beret and red and black checked trousers, simply belongs to Engstligenalp. The experience with Globi begins when the Globi cable car takes your whole family up the mountain. There’s already plenty to marvel at on the journey: Will you discover the Engstligen Falls? The Globi cable car takes your whole family up to Engstligenalp. Already then the adventure with Globi begins, because on the way there is much to discover. Maybe you’ll catch a glimpse of the roaring waterfall.

On Engstligenalp you have the opportunity to meet Globi in person. In summer he walks from the top station of the cable car down to the mountain hotel and is looking forward to your visit.
Of course, the blue bird is also available for a souvenir photo. Most of the time he even has a surprise with him: small gifts like tattoos, glue and postcards make sure that your encounter with Globi will stay in your memory for a long time.

Do you already know Globi’s adventures on Engstligenalp? The Globi book “Globi auf der Alp” tells the story of how Globi becomes an alpine farmer on Engstligenalp for one season. The alpine dairyman has suffered an unfortunate injury and Globi steps in without further ado. There is a lot for him to do now: he has a lot to learn and discovers a lot of new things in the process. In addition to the classic activities on the alp, he spreads cow dung on the pastures, hauls huge bales of hay and learns how to yodel through a milk funnel or how to wave flags. He has to deal with very naughty cows, meets dwarfs and a giant and experiences much more.
